    mein PC: Acer Aspire A717-71-G-58KH


    Installiert ist Windows 10 parallel zu Ubuntu 16.04 als Dualboot mit GRUB als Bootmanager.


    Das Windows kommt relativ selten zum Einsatz. Wahrscheinlich war es so vor 3-6 Monaten das letzte Mal an. Nun hat es bei einer erneuten Benutzung im Hintergrund ein großes Update installiert. Die Installation dauerte etwa einen ganzen Arbeitstag. Am nächsten Morgen habe ich es dann noch einmal gestartet und er hat begonnen, das Update zu verarbeiten. Das war wieder sehr langsam und dauerte in der Zeit, in der ich es beobachtete, etwa 10 Minuten pro Prozent. Irgendwann war das dann offensichtlich abgeschlossen und der PC heruntergefahren.


    Beim nächsten Versuch, Windows zu benutzen, dauerte der Start sehr lang. Einige Minuten lang erschien die Meldung "Bitte warten" auf blauem Grund. Irgendwann kam dann der Login-Screen. Das einloggen dauerte dann wieder einige Zeit und benötigte auch mehrere Versuche, da am Anfang das eigentlich richtige Passwort nicht akzeptiert wurde. Dann kamen die Meldungen, dass Windows "sich um alles kümmert" und scheinbar noch Updates verarbeitet wurden. Irgendwann dann erschien ein schwarzer Desktop ohne irgendwas und die Fehlermeldung "C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile/Desktop" sei nicht verfügbar. Auch sonst funktionierte fast nichts. Kein Startmenü, kein WLAN, im Taskmanager wurden keine laufenden Tasks angezeigt usw. Windows + R funktioniert noch und auch CMD und die Powershell. Und dieses Verhalten inklusive der wiederholten Update-Verarbeitung nach dem Login ist reproduzierbar. Probiert habe ich nun, in den systemprofile-Ordner die Daten aus meinem Benutzerverzeichnis zu kopieren, da ich gelesen habe, dass das wohl helfen kann. Die Meldung ist seit dem Weg. Symbole sind auch auf dem Desktop zu sehen, aber sonst funktioniert weiterhin nichts.


    Über die Powershell und Get-WindowsUpdateLOg habe ich nun die richtige Logdatei WindowsUpdate.log erzeugen können. Anhand dieser vermute ich, dass es das Update KB4465417 ist, was hier Mist gemacht hat. Es kommen auch einige "FAILED" drin vor, aber so richtig weiter komme ich damit nicht.


    Kann mir bei diesem Problem bitte jemand helfen? Durch das Dualboot-System kommt eine Neuinstallation vorerst nicht infrage. Den Bootmanager macht Windows bei solchen Aktionen ja kaputt.

    Ich glaube kaum, dass sich jemand hier die Mühe nimmt deine Auflistung vom alten Testament zu lesen und zu deuten.

    nachdem ich Deine update Nummer gegoogelt habe, weiß ich jetzt, dass Du die Vers. 1803 installiert hast (aktuell: 1809). Vielleicht steht das auch oben irgendwo, keine Ahnung.
    Wenn Deine Vermutung stimmt, könntest Du das update einfach verstecken, das muss auch bei einem Dualsystem funktionieren. Aus meiner Sicht, wirst Du aber irgendwann ein inplace upgrade (Link s. unten auf dieser Seite) machen müssen, sofern das bei Deinem System geht.
