Corrupted internet downloads

Hi there,

I'm running Windows 10 Build 14965 16104-1700 and cannot download any file from the Internet or stream anything.

I get a lot of random file corruptions with Edge, Firefox, Cyberfox and Chrome.

Getting a Windows or app update is pure luck, most of them fail to correctly download also for at least a couple of times.

Also Webpages Show load Errors with sometimes corrupted layout or corrupted Images.


I reset my PC including deletion of all personal files, it worked for a while, now I get the same behavior.

Things I tried so far:

Uninstalled Avast

Deactivated Firewall and smartscreen

Reset Firewall and Network

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

sfc /scannow

ran the System on identical Hardware in a second pc

ran all the built-in Windows Troubleshooters

ran Microsoft SoftwareRepairTool


Besides the Browsers I don't have much Software installed , no Internet security Suite or anything like that, just Office, steam, total commander and the like. Right now I'm running Bitdefender free, but the Problem occured with avast also.


It doesn't seem to be a Network related issue either, a second pc in the Network running a non developers build is working fine and I can load files and stream movies from a local Network share without any data corruption.


At this Point I'm suspecting a Software Problem with the Insider Preview build.


Has anyone else experienced something like this? Any other suggestions?
