I just love how I didn't notice that the site was set to German for some reason...lol. Sorry about that.

Ok,

this has been asked several times now but I still am confused.
The free upgrade is tied to your hardware/motherboard ID, which makes windows unable to activate if I switch out Motherboard and CPU (or just the motherboard).

People say you would have to reinstall windows 7, install all updates and then perform a free upgrade to windows 10 again but Gabriel Aul said that you can contact windows customer support to regain entitlement if you can't activate because of a hardware change.

Does anybody have experience with this?Does windows support really reactivate your windows installation if you contact them?
I would hate to be forced to go back to windows 7 and then upgrade because I don't know where my Win 7 CD + Key is <.<
